hi i’m peter i’m a director i give wix a
four out of five and for more reviews

before wix my predecessor was actually
using straight up html coding to create
a website
it was a very dated look and was not
easy to
update because i was not super familiar
with html coding
i looked at some wordpress options i
also had some familiarity personally
with weebly
but i ended up gravitating towards wix
because of the
ability to really drag and drop and
really customize exactly what i was
looking for in a website
weebly i think had too much presets
already in place and i really wanted
more of the customization involved
and that’s why i ended up choosing wix
some additional reasons why i chose wix
was the price i thought that they
offered a very affordable price for the
total package that we were looking at
which gave us a good amount of data
allowance
and all of the features we were looking
for
i also liked the interrupt operability
with a mobile interface
wix’s platform easily allows you to
design both a
computer website and a mobile website at
the same time you can easily toggle
between the two of them
so if you’re designing something to be
used on a computer you can easily
also look at how that design would look
on a mobile website and
update accordingly it was very easy to
start
set up my wix account um i just signed
up for the online package i was looking
for i remember it was one pretty basic
uh includes everything package at the
time um they were offering a good sign
up bonus as well so that also helped
signed up for the website on my own
using my work email
inputted our work payment information
and then was going pretty quickly
so i think one of the double-edged
swords with the large amount of
customization that wix offers
is that there are almost too many
options for a first-time user
and so i would definitely recommend
looking at some of the templates that
they offer to start you off at
i think they can provide a lot of useful
ideas on the look and feel that you’re
looking at
and then you can further go forward with
further customization based exactly on
what you
want but i think it’s key to you know
look at some of the
tips and the designs that they offer
ahead of time so you’re just not
overwhelmed by all of the options
