How to set up an email autoresponder in webmail

Tutorial Hosting
Hello this is David with Dedicated Web Design we’re going to look at quickly how to set up an autoresponder in your email and what we’ll do is go to your browser we’ll put in your domain name and using mine, so dedicatedwd.com

And we’ll put forward slash after that and webmail once we go here log in with our email and password make sure you put your full email address in and once we get it logged in we will see kind of upper bar here let’s go to the top right select

Your email address and it’s going to bring up a drop-down box here we’ll see the first item down and below those different mail programs is autoresponders alright so we actually have a current autoresponder right now

That I’ve set up what we can do is we’ll take a look at it and you can see how it’s done here’s modify address autoresponder we can hit edit autoresponder and here we go so kind of some of the details that we’ll want to

Know about might be interval the interval number of hours that it will wait and send the response to the same email address so some was sending you an email we don’t need to keep sending them an autoresponder saying we’re going to

Be out they already know that so you know we can use any number here we want depending on how much we want to bug them about it and down below here we’ve got the from I would put my name in there the subject out of office you can put

More details in there change it up depending on what you need the body actually if you know HTML just select this checkbox that way you can put in different links and different HTML elements but here you can see I just said hey I’m out out Monday please contact me tomorrow thanks David

Now once we’ve got a little message in there we’ll want to put a start time you can either select immediately which would start off right away or we can set a specific time if I said I’m out Monday we want to

Make sure that maybe let’s say Monday morning at 4:30 a.m. we’ll say we want people to know if they send us an email that Monday that they will not be getting us I’ll have to reach out to us tomorrow or we won’t be getting back to the email

Right away now when we hit stop let’s select stop time so let’s say we’re done I’m going to be back Tuesday we could just do late Monday night let’s just say 11:30 p.m. that way anytime on Monday and most likely that somebody emails us

They’re gonna get this message once we’ve already selected all the settings that you’d like hit create/modify that will save it letting us know that it’s saved successfully you can’t go back and that will bring us back to our email now let’s say that obviously once this is done and Monday’s

Past Tuesday’s come this auto reply is no longer I’m ready for you all you have to do go down and you need to change your message at all and then change the start and South times and that way really don’t have to set it much if you

Like use the same message every time it’s fine just go back in here and change the start and stop times and there you have it good luck
