Changing all the URLs in your WordPress database. First, download the “Better Search Replace” plugin. In your website’s panel navigate to plugins and select “add new.” Afterwards, find the “Better Search Replace” plugin and click “install now.” Once installed, press the activate button in your panel.

Change all URLs in your WordPress database with the Better Search Replace plugin. First, create a backup copy of your database. This way, if something goes wrong, you can easily replace your old data. Then download the “Better Search Replacement” plugin from your website’s panel. You should see a message at the top informing you what would have been updated if you had not checked the Dry Run checkbox. If everything looks good, run Run Find/Replace again with the Run as Dry Run box unchecked. A confirmation will appear letting you know how many changes have been made. Congratulations, now all URLs in your database point to the new URL name.
