When you are thinking about creating a website on WordPress or Blogger, the first thing that comes to mind is the domain name. Today, we will learn how to purchase a domain, where you can buy a domain, how to register a domain, and how to connect a domain with your hosting.
It is always advisable to buy a domain from a trusted provider. There are many websites where you can get a domain for a very low price for one year. But when you go to renew it after a year, you will see that the domain renewal cost on these websites is very high. Moreover, if you buy a domain from an unreliable provider, you may face many issues while connecting it with your hosting. Therefore, it is always recommended to buy a domain from a trusted company. There are many good domain providers, but I personally prefer GoDaddy and Hostinger. I buy domains from these websites, and every time I renew my domain, I get a discount of 25% to 40%. The customer support of all these domain providers is also excellent. You will learn how to buy a domain and where to buy it from this video.
If you have purchased a domain, you will not be able to tell what your name is, where you live, or under whose name the domain you are using is registered. Secondly, they are offering professional email purchase, but we will not do it here because you can register a professional email for free. I will teach you how to do that in another video on this channel. Finally, they are recommending purchasing hosting, which is not as good as GoDaddy for a domain purchase. Confusingly, after clicking on the “Buy Now” button, the price and discount of your domain will be shown, and you can proceed with the purchase.
You can take advantage of extra discounts by finding and applying a coupon code before proceeding with the payment. These coupon codes are available on various coupon websites, and you can easily find them by searching on Google. Moreover, you can also chat with the GoDaddy customer support team and ask for a special discount. After filling in your details, click on the “Continue to Checkout” button, and you will be directed to the payment page. You can make payment using a credit card, debit card, UPI, or wallet. After completing the payment, your domain purchase will be confirmed, and you will receive a verification email to verify your account.
Remember to always keep auto-renew off for your domains. If you buy a domain that you do not want to renew later, it will automatically renew. Therefore, always keep auto-renew off. If you have purchased a domain for a specific period and do not want to renew it, remember that it will be automatically renewed unless you have turned off the auto-renew option.
