Introduction
Hello guys, welcome to PC1. In this video, I am going to show you how you can host your domain and do domain forwarding. If you get hosting from Hostinger, you can also get a free domain. I will leave the URL of Hostinger in the description of this video. In this video, I will demonstrate how you can redirect your domain to another website.
Step 1: Go to Website Section
To begin, go to your website section and make sure that your domain is connected to Hostinger. From there, navigate to the manage section. Click on the domains option to proceed.
Step 2: Click on Redirects
After selecting the domains option, click on redirects. This will take you to an interface where you can set up the domain forwarding.
Step 3: Set Up the Redirect
In the redirect interface, your domain name will be displayed. Keep the path empty for now. If you want to redirect people to a specific website, such as appsumo.com, copy the URL of that website. Make sure to select HTTP and not HTTPS. Paste the URL in the designated field. Click on create to set up the redirect.
Step 4: Verify the Redirect
After creating the redirect, you should see a notification confirming its creation. Test the redirect by visiting your domain in a browser. It should now redirect to the specified website.
Step 5: Customize the Redirect Path
If you want to use a specific path in your domain for redirection, such as facelesscashcow.com/sum, you can set that up as well. Enter the desired extension (e.g. sum) and the URL of the website you want to redirect to. Make sure to remove any additional text from the URL. Click on create to finalize the setup.
Step 6: Test the Customized Redirect
After creating the custom redirect path, test it by visiting the specified URL in a browser. Your domain should now redirect to the designated website with the custom path included.
