Hello beautiful people and welcome to 365 web x and today i will be showing you how to add a domain verification key in your dns text or txt record now how do you do that it is simple let’s jump straight into the video as i show you how to in a minute

So what you want to do first you want to log into your domain host control panel uh for those of you who are familiar with control panel and if you’re not familiar with control panel i’m going to go into my control panel and show you what control panel looks like okay now um

Secondly you want to go to your domain status or you want to go to um you know your dns management uh page and set everything up there so i’m going to show you how to do it right now stay tuned so what you want to do

Is this is my cpanel how you log into your panel is of course when you register your domain and you bought a hosting from your your hosting company of course they give you um a login they sent you a login so that login is where you’re going to

Enter in your url here you can see mine is this and say panel and then of course once you hit enter it takes you to the registration page from where you fill the form your username and password and it brings you right here so right here you can see i’m in my cpanel

And i’m going to come down here to search research book box there or bar whatever you call it and i’m going to type in zone and then you can see the zone editor here and what you want to do is click this one then it’s going to bring you in here okay so

Here are the domains i have uh in here and what you want to do is come down here where it says manage i’m going to add uh my verification key to this domain and i’m going to click on manage and once i click on manage okay so i’m going to

Come down here and create a record now i have the record here now i’m going to copy my i’m going to go to google cons search console and copy my txt verification code i’ve copied it to my clipboard so you go to your google console or for those of you who might be

Confused a bit i have it right here so i’m going to copy this i have to protect myself so i’m going to block this and i’m going to copy this and then of course i’m using another browser for that okay so now i’ve pasted my record here but it’s saying that i

Have to specify a valid ip4 and the reason a lot of people just think they can copy their record paste piston and then it’s don’t know if you don’t do it right then you’re going to get this message so what you want to go here you see this type

Go down here and change this to txt and then that message disappears now you want to paste in that record again you can see it there and then here you want to just copy your domain and and put it here so right here i’ve pasted my domain uh which is the name of

The domain we are trying to verify and then here is our tledge code here is our t xt type and then here is a key okay is it here okay and i’m going to save record okay so you can see right here it says successful we have successfully added uh

Um i click verify and see what happens oh good now we have successfully verified our domain so i’m going to go to done okay guys thank you for watching that is how simple it is to add uh you know to verify domain ownership via a dns record okay
