In this video, I will be testing the performance of two of my websites using the Essential plan and then upgrading to the Pro plan. We will compare the results and see if the upgrade to Pro has improved the speed and performance of my websites.
Essential Plan
I currently have a web hosting plan with Jonas, which includes 50 GB of webspace, 5 databases, and a domain name. I have been using this plan for some time now, and it has been serving me well. However, I have noticed that my websites are starting to slow down, and I think it’s time to upgrade to a plan that can handle more traffic and provide better performance.
Pro Plan
The Pro plan offered by Jonas includes 250 GB of webspace, unlimited databases, and a domain name. It also comes with more advanced features such as 6 GB of RAM, 3 GB of VPS, and 640 MB of PHP memory. This plan is significantly more expensive than the Essential plan, but I believe it’s worth the investment.
Upgrading to Pro
After upgrading to the Pro plan, I noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my websites. The page speed test results show that my websites are now loading much faster than before. The score on Google’s Page Speed Insights has increased from 96 to 99, and the average load time has decreased from 1.5 seconds to 0.8 seconds.
Mobile Performance
I also tested the mobile performance of my websites using Page Speed Insights. While the results were not as impressive as those on the desktop version, I still noticed a significant improvement in the performance of my websites.
