Siteground Review 2021: Is SiteGround Worth It?

Tutorial Hosting
– Are you sick of your trash web hosting service? Lord knows I was in that dumpster fire known as 2020. I was having issues with my website getting hacked and the website load time getting ridiculously slow and that’s without the whole hacking issue.

I’d reached out to my assistant and I was like what gives? What exactly is the big issue here? And what she did was explain to me that when a web hosting company loads too many clients and customers on one server, everything slows down, so this company I was using,

I’m not gonna name any names, was overloading the servers, and so, though I was getting great cheap web hosting service, it was getting worse and worse and worse as they were just funneling a bunch of people into one server. So this new host reached out to me, and obviously,

Moving over five different websites, that’s right, I’ve got five websites from one hosting service to the other was going to be a large meal in the undertaking. After checking out this web hosting service, everything lined up, everything seemed good, and that’s what brings me to today’s video. Well, who am I talking about?

It’s the winner of Dale’s Web Host Award in, drum roll please (drum ferociously beating), SiteGround. So here’s what happened next. I had my assistant move over one of the sites over to SiteGround just to kind of just test the waters and make sure I’m not moving all these things at once and discovering, well, this is not gonna work out.

As soon as I logged in to my WordPress Dash, it popped up instantly. Now you compare that to the other service that was taking sometimes upwards of 15 seconds to 30 seconds or more at a time. Every click to my website or inside my website was almost instant response time.

What I was used to was a busily slow load time. Fun fact. Site speed is a huge ranking factor with Google, so if you really want to place yourself on first page placement, you need to have a website that’s going to work efficiently. I’m actually gonna link to an article down below

So you can can take a look at that a little bit more information about site speed and how it will really help you out as far as ranking or even work against you. Let me just summarize it for you. Building out a website on a slow, crappy host

Is going to be a big disservice to you and your visitors. Site speed was just the beginning of all the great things. In fact, I’m gonna cover five of the perks that I really have enjoyed with SiteGround. It started out with eliminating multiple plugins. Now I use a WordPress site,

And as some of you are probably aware in using WordPress, you need to use plugins from time to time to really elevate your website to give it some more bells and whistles, but the problem is the more plugins that you have, the more problems that you’re gonna have,

And of course, the slower your site’s going to load. Well, with SiteGround, they had a lot of the features I normally had to get through plugins automatically set for their website. This included HTTPS protocol, backups, and caching. So the fact that I can actually get the secure host of HTTPS

Rather than just the HTTP was big. On the other service provider, you had to pay extra for that. What? Number two, saved money. Now not only was I saving more money by being over with SiteGround over the previous web host, I was also not having to hire my assistant

To do additional things like backups on a regular basis because SiteGround was doing daily backups for us. Now that’s not to say that you should sit back and not do backups of your own. I would still put a safety protocol in place that you go through at least maybe weekly or monthly

In doing a backup so that way you have a double backed up, and in the event that your site crashes, you have something in place that you can upload and get things rocking and rolling. Number three, intuitive and user-friendly dashboard. I have spent a way less time with online support.

In fact, my communication with them has been almost next to nothing. Why? It’s an easy dashboard to use. It’s just, it’s dummy-proof. You can go in there and have no issue in finding the things that you want to and not go, okay, what’s, what’s a DNS and an HTTPS

And a, and a CNNMF or what, all these different acronyms means nothing to me, but the nice thing is SiteGround doesn’t overwhelm me with all those things and I can find everything super, super simple. You want to set up an email? Easy peasy. You can just do it within a couple clicks.

SiteGround designed everything to where it is clear, simple and easy to create and maintain a website as most web hosting services should make it. Number four, SiteGround Direct Support. Here’s a really cool thing. All right, I got their service. I got set up, and every now and then,

Support would reach out to me and say, hey, is everything cool? And the nice thing is most times I’m like, yeah, it is. Should there be something wrong? But oddly enough, I never really needed them because I found everything I needed to. Number five, built-in affiliate marketing. Ooh yeah, baby.

If you do like SiteGround, and you’re a big fan of them, they’ve got a very generous affiliate marketing program that’s built into your dashboard. So that means if you’re liking SiteGround, you can do like what I’m doing in putting together a video and recommend people going over and checking out SiteGround for themselves.

This is nice. With affiliate marketing, if you’re not familiar, you like a product, you suggest somebody to come over to it, and they buy that product, you get a percentage of those sales and it doesn’t affect that customer and it greatly helps out that company. That works that way with SiteGround.

But the issue with a lot of affiliate marketing programs is it’s typically a third-party seller of some sort, a third-party company that you have to go through and apply and get your money from them. No! With SiteGround you go right into the dashboard, you get your affiliate marketing link

And it’s good to go. I’ve been with SiteGround since September of 2020, and the only regret I have is that I didn’t move to them much sooner and save myself a lot of heartache, hassle, horse manure, and a few bucks in the process. As soon as I pulled the trigger to move

All of my sites over to SiteGround, instantly, I saw a lot of the damage that was done from my previous host become undone going over to SiteGround. As a result, I highly recommend SiteGround, folks. Go take a look at them at my affiliate link of dalelinks.com/siteground.

And I told you about when I got my website hacked last year, it was pretty crazy. You’ll find out what that company was when you go over to this video. It’s pretty insightful and you’ll see why I had enough and I moved over to SiteGround.

If you’ve already seen that video, take a look at this one, YouTube says you might want to look at it. I’ll see you in either one.
