Sure to make it clear that I think DreamHost has some really consumer friendly practices so take a example just going to the starting a page here what happens is that they have a monthly and yearly toggle here if we take a look at something like Bluehost for example
It only really shows you you know kind of like one pricing model here it’s not showing you if this is yearly or monthly but dreamhost is much more transparent in the fact that it does that’s something that’s really cool so you have the option here guys there are like some
Additional things you’ll get with yearly plans take for example you can get a free domain if you purchase it for a year which is cool that’s one of the things I’m going to be looking for in terms of pricing and we also get unlimited traffic unlimited stuff like this and you’re
Also going to get that of course for the monthly plan as well we have wordpress pre-installed which is pretty cool they have a new website builder you could check out the simplest way to build a WordPress website so it’s kind of like a drag-and-drop kind of website builder
You get a free SSL certificate that’s a little bit more in the security section but it is a price consideration as well because not every provider is going to give you that free SSL certificate with SSL certificate your site’s gonna be more secure and it’s also going to get
Better Google rankings because that is something Google looks for now to have websites SSL certificate you know I’ve dealt with hosting providers before that don’t give you a free SSL certificate and it’s definitely annoying having to have to pay for that whereas some of these give them to you for free right
Probably my favorite thing about DreamHost that you won’t find with a lot of other web host providers is that there’s not a renewal price increase so if you sign up with DreamHost for a year and then you build another year it’s gonna be the same price whereas with other providers like Bluehost for
Example what is happening is that you’re signing up for like one year and then you’re actually going to end up paying more after that year because there’s a renewal price increase we saw this a little bit with VPN providers what will happen is maybe you’ll sign up for two
Years with some VPN and then the third year will be a little bit more expensive and there’s like some fine print so it’s something you have to look out for you know like I said most web host providers do renewal price increases so there are a lot of things I like about DreamHost
It’s a pretty decent price pretty much competitive with all the other options and we also have dream press as well which is more for like the premium large websites that you could take advantage of you know it does give you some extra things like one-click staging click
Create a staging site we just want to click in safety touch new plugin so that’s kind of cool it’s not super necessary but cool to see nonetheless you also get some more SSD storage which is gonna make your website a little bit faster or make stuff like transferring
Files and stuff a little bit faster and you’re gonna get like a little bit more of you know cap for visitors you could also go for VPS if you want even like more control and stuff like that a little bit more power feature but honestly guys you’re gonna get that one
Gigabyte of RAM as well so it’s gonna be a little bit more for power features between press is a pretty good option I also think the share it is a good option if it’s like smaller website if you want to make a big website maybe go for dream press but
Like I was saying I think this is a very consumer friendly pricing plan the pricing is pretty competitive for what you get unlimited traffic and limited bandwidth some providers do limit this kind of stuff lastly I do want to mention that dream house has a 97 day
Refund policy which is much better than a lot of other hosting providers out there a lot of them only have 30 day refund policies so the fact that dream house has a 97 day that’s pretty impressive very consumer friendly not only that guy’s dream host does provide
A free site migration to dream press so if you use this one you’re gonna get that free site migration so it’s a little bit more expensive this plan but you do get more and you do get that free site migration which is really cool that’s something I also look for now in
Terms of features we could talk about some of the features that this web host provider checks off something I’m going to be looking for in these reviews is if it’s recommended by WordPress so these websites are very trusted by WordPress the WordPress community and it’s recommending you to use them because
They’re going to get good options so DreamHost is one of the only three providers that is recommended by WordPress which gives it a lot of kind of Appeal and and makes it a very legitimate option another thing I want to look for in these reviews is cloud
Hosting does the provider allow you to select cloud hosting as an option cloud hosting is very interesting because it’s going to be more inside the cloud giving you access to better speeds better control and more servers that are scalable so it’s more like depending on you know what your website needs it can

Deal now one thing that not every web host provider will offer you is privacy in terms of how they handle your data host is probably the best web host provider in terms of user privacy in fact they’ve had multiple cases when they had to fight in court over you know

Bit about anti-malware capabilities how is contree most gonna help you with this so DreamHost does have a couple paid add-ons here that you can take advantage of stuff like dream shield which is gonna be like am our add-on remover which is going to remove anything that could potentially compromise your
Sensitive information on your website whether something like malicious code or something like that when you add it onto your website it’s going to scan it and automatically scan it week after week based on that time period and if there are any issues dream shield will of course email you and let
You know an email is also sent to you to let you know that your site is clean so there are options here to take advantage of most web host providers have some kind of security but it is too good to see this here another category we take a look at is speed
And while speed is a very important aspect of your website almost every one of the big kind of web host providers has decent speeds dreamhost is no exception testing it out or around three months I got an average of around 500 ms for ping which is really good and enough
Time of 99.8% not like the biggest case of examination here unlike VPNs where the speed can vary a lot most of the web hosts I’ve been testing are all pretty similar and give you good results especially kind of depending on which package you pick whether shared hosting

Is really good it’s super consumer friendly as the longest refund policy yet of pretty much any web host out there as non-renewable like up charges so year after year the price isn’t gonna go up and kind of try to trick you into signing up for something it’s got really
Cool features like cloud hosting it’s got insanely good privacy and security including free domain privacy a free SSL certificate it’s also got cool things like Maur scanners that you could add on to your website and of course it’s easily integrated with stuff like WordPress with one kick installs
Automatic installs and stuff like that it’s got its own like site builder you can play around with and it also has its own custom panel then I actually quite liked almost as much as cPanel so no problems there and the final rating it’s just recommended four point eight out of five
This is the first one of these reviews we’ve done and you know going forward there might be some adjustments here there is we kind of figure out more of the industry figure out you know what this can compare to you know maybe I’ll find another web host that does a lot
