Hello everyone, Carson, and in today's video I'm going to walk you through the pros and cons of Siteground in 2024. Since Siteground is a very popular shared hosting provider that caters to multiple users, you know the plethora of options. These include WordPress hosting, cloud hosting and even dedicated servers. Overall, siteground is a very good company. But I want to go ahead and give you a quick video discussing the pros and cons of Siteground and the benefits and features you get. If you want to check out Siteground, go to my link in the description where I offer Siteground at a special discount. And now let's go ahead and get started. Overall, siteground is a very good host. But when you turn to the pros for a while, the first pro is their uptime. They offer 99% and 99% uptime which is simply phenomenal. They also offer above-average loading times of around 663 milliseconds. If you take the time to actually monitor and test it. They offer great customer support that is available 24/7 in the form of live chat or you can call by phone, which of course is definitely the customer support you want on any hosting platform you get. They are always looking for quality customer support that can be offered through the platform. They also offer free site migration for a website. So if you want to switch to their plans, switch to siteground. You can do this through free site migration. They also offer some additional features like a free SSL certificate and a free CDN or content delivery network. And they offer entry-level and advanced features. So if you are a beginner you can use Siteground. However, if you are an advanced user or an IT technician, you can also use these features. Now let's talk about the disadvantages: They offer slightly higher renewal rates. Even though the price starts at around 699 per month on one of their plans, it can now go up to around 1499 per month upon renewal. Also, they don't offer a free domain name, which is basically what all industry standard website hosts offer. So that's a bit of a downside, and it's a cheap plan. The plan they offer at the cheapest price is slightly limited in terms of features, performance and space. However, if you want to know if I recommend Siteground, then I definitely do. They are not in my top three website hosts of all time that you can actually check out on my channel. You can click on them on the map now if you want, but they are some of my top website hosts and I would definitely give them a positive review. Their advantages far outweigh their disadvantages. Overall and to recap: I definitely think Siteground is a great platform for hosting, even if it's not one of the best of the best. So if you don't want to try them out and get special discounts, just go to my link in the description where you can do that. Thanks for watching, see you next time and have a nice day.
