And by that I mean a lot of which I have now reviewed over 90 and am almost at 100. And because I'm an influencer, I of course get special access. And now let's jump straight to the Name Cheaper view. Now the name is cheap, the name is obviously a website domain seller. So they basically sell website domains that users can use and redirect to their own hosting companies. But they also offer their own hosting plans if you only want to use the domains on namecheap.com. Now they sell domains very cheaply. And for domains. They are a very good company. However, the question remains whether “Name Cheap” is also suitable for website hosting. So that's what I'm exploring today. In this video, I will explain the pros and cons of Named-Cheeps hosting and then tell you whether I recommend using Named-Cheeps as a hosting platform. One of the biggest advantages of Name Cheap is that you can host up to three domain names with the starter plan. This means that instead of the normal Starter plans on most websites where you can only host one website with that Starter plan, Name Cheap allows you to host multiple websites with the same plan. The downside, of course, is that if your website takes up enough resources, you don't really need three websites in one plan. It would probably be better and serve your website better to have only one website per plan or one website. And then when you need more, upgrade your plan. But for those of you who want multiple websites that are likely to have very little traffic directed to those websites, Namecheap is great. That's exactly what Name Cheap allows you to do with this additional feature. Now they also offer incredibly cheap prices for their website host, which is one of the advantages of Name Cheap. However, this leads to my first con, which is the fact that their pricing is problematic. Now let me explain the many cheap website hosts that perform like hosting or excellent performance and their very affordable prices, which of course lead to them becoming the industry standard for website hosting. And one of the best website hosting companies in 2022. Name cheap, however, doesn't seem to have quite mastered this ability to stay cheap and high quality in its plans. Their managed WordPress plans are extremely underperforming and don't have enough features to really work. And overall, their shared hosting has very poor performance. Of course, this essentially negates the very cheap prices they offered, because if you offer cheap prices but for a terrible plan, you might as well just buy something more expensive and actually get a plan worth using . Another problem with Namecheap is that their customer support is notoriously inconsistent, meaning you're not really guaranteed to receive very helpful support. Every time you contact Name Cheap, they may ask you to submit a ticket and then just leave it there instead of actually walking you through your issue. And the last downside I want to mention about Name Cheap, which is a pretty big one for me, is that they lack a lot of advanced, crucial features. When it comes to website hosting.
