Tutorial Hosting
Are you looking for a reliable hosting provider for your website then you’ve landed on the right video in today’s hosting review we will be looking at siteground hosting and also we’ll explore their new backend dashboard is their dashboard really that good to find the answer to

That question do watch this video to the end Hello and welcome to the tech roost i am michael and today in this video i will be reviewing siteground and we’ll see if it is worth your buck or not siteground is highly preferred and one of the most popular hosting providers out there but let’s take a deep dive into

Sitegrounds pros and cons and see if they deserve the praise or not i don’t actually mean dive into the deep ocean that would have been awesome though anyway let’s start by taking a look at the new back-end dashboard of siteground about a year ago siteground migrated from the classic cpanel

To a custom crafted dashboard if you’re used to the cpanel layout it might take you a bit to get used to the new design but once you get the hang of it you’ll see how much better it is than the default cpanel layout the new interface is much more neat and well organized

It’s as if marie kondo herself came in and organized every option indeed it does spark joy you can manage all your sites from the websites tab each website can be individually managed using the site tools option as you can see here in the site tools you get all the important options

Towards the front like an app manager file manager backups ftp accounts and whatnot all these options are displayed in a minimal format what’s best is that if you want to make the dashboard more homey and cozy you can customize it to show the essential options towards the front

For example i always create a backup of my website once i have published a new post so i can add this website backup option towards the front and that way i don’t have to navigate to security and then to site backup every time it’ll be sitting right there on my

Dashboard isn’t that cool moreover you can manage your ftp accounts create a staging website set up emails deep dive in the statistics and even do a full site scan from the left sidebar options it’s like sitting in the death star control room and having full control over your website

Nothing can beat that feeling if you want to add more domains you just need to head over to the marketplace tab here in the top bar and purchase the ones you want your new domains will automatically be added to your website and you can start managing them too simple as abc

Here in the billing section you can check out your invoices take a look at payment history and renew your hosting with just a couple of clicks what i do find unique with siteground is that you can add collaborators so if you have a team or if you’re hosting multiple clients

You can simply add them and they can take care of the day-to-day tasks no doubt this is one of my favorite features of sitegrounds dashboard if you are serious about hosting your website i’m sure you know how vital uptime is uptime is like the lifeline of your website if the lifeline goes flat

You won’t be able to access your website well that isn’t something you want right relax the good news is that siteground does not disappoint when it comes to it i’ve been using siteground for my own websites and i have never seen my website go below 99.99

Now that is a score worth falling for along with uptime speed plays a significant role and i can’t complain here either siteground runs on ssd servers and uses the nginx server tech on top of that you get super cacher a robust cdn network the latest php versions as well all

These features combined can make your website blazing fast do you know that nearly 30 000 websites get hacked every single day i’m sure you don’t want your website to be one of them well you don’t have to worry siteground features a free ssl certificate and an ai anti-bot system that blocks millions of

Security threats every day i mean how cool is that i don’t know about you but knowing that my websites are protected with an ai-based security system does put a smile on my face coming to customer support siteground offers 24 7 assistants and you can reach them via chat

Phone and even ticket support in all these years of hosting websites i have never seen more active and friendly support agents i always get my query resolved in no time now the big question arises how much all this costs are you worried all of this is going to

Burn a hole in your pocket well you don’t have to worry at all the prices for siteground’s shared hosting plan starts from 6.99 per month for the first year this startup plan offers one website hosting 10 gigabyte web space 10 000 monthly visitors free ssl certificate daily backups free cdn

And all of their advanced to manage wordpress hosting tools the grow big plan costs 9.99 for this price you get everything from the startup plan with added feature sets of unlimited websites hosting 20 gigabyte web space 25 000 monthly visits on-demand startups staging and collaborators options if you

Want more you can go with the go geek plan it comes with unlimited websites 40 gigabytes of web space 100 000 monthly visits unmetered traffic white labeling ultra fast boosting options and priority support oh and in all the plans you get a sweet 30 days money back guarantee

Although i am sure you won’t be needing that so the question still stands is siteground worth it my answer is absolutely i know some of you might think that they’re a little bit more expensive than other companies out there but considering the features you get with siteground they are undoubtedly the best

Hosting provider today i switched to siteground more than four years back and i haven’t looked back ever since if you want my opinion i would suggest you go with siteground hands down unparalleled performance custom crafted backend impeccable support bandwidth limitations and many other advanced security features are almost
