In today’s review i’m going to be reviewing dreamhost they’re a very popular web hosting company amongst webmasters i’ve had experience working with them over the years this is their website and they offer shared vps dedicated and cloud services you can also buy domain names with them which is pretty cool
They offer just one shared plan which is 8.95 per month and it’s gonna have your own control panel which they do use their own control panel it’s not cpanel but it’s pretty straightforward and easy to use it does have one click software installation for installing wordpress drupal joomla wikis any anything you
Want for a website they do offer vps packages which their beginner one is fifteen dollars a month and all the way up to two hundred dollars a month now the 15 a month is pretty cheap compared to other web hosting companies for dedicated plans they do offer six different packages
109 to 249 a month and 109 a month is really cheap for a dedicated server and you do have the option to buy a cloud server where you can configure your server and specify what resources you want to use and basically just customize it to tell however you see fit and
I checked with the ripoff report and they they only have about four complaints which isn’t very bad at all um furthermore i checked into is it down right now.com and about 50 people were complaining about their servers being down can’t log into their control panel various issues
The biggest concern i have with dream host is their servers seem to be pretty slow your up time is going to be fairly decent another popular web hosting site webhostinggeeks.com has collected a lot of responses from people that use dream hosts and it’s hit or miss with them they either
Get five out of five stars one out of one three out of three i believe at this time they had 19 re reviewers and they get about three stars so i mean they’re not horribly bad and i also checked with who is hosting this and they seem to get pretty favorable comments
From the administrator of the site but from you real users that use their site they don’t get a lot of good feedback so it’s kind of questionable on whether or not you should trust dream host from my experience they’re not horribly bad but i wouldn’t recommend them there’s a lot better web hosting
