Tutorial: Creating a New FTP User in Dream
Hello guys, in today’s video, I’m going to show you how to create a new FTP user in Dream once you’ve logged in to your Dream account. To start, navigate to the “Websites and Users” and “Files” section, where you can see your existing FTP user.
Step 1: Navigate to the Websites and Users Section
To create a new FTP user, you’ll need to first navigate to the “Websites and Users” section. Once you’re in this section, you’ll be able to see your existing FTP user. This is where the magic happens, so let’s get started!
Step 2: Click on “Create User”
In this section, you’ll see an option to “Create User”. This is the first step in creating a new FTP user. Click on this button to proceed.
Step 3: Choose Your Server
Next, you’ll be prompted to choose a server. You can select the server that you want to create the user on. For example, if you want to create a user on the “mywebsite” server, you can select that option.
Step 4: Set Your Username and Password
After choosing your server, you’ll be prompted to set your username and password. You can enter a username and password of your choice. You can also choose to generate a strong password for your user.
Step 5: Enable SSH (Optional)
If you want to enable SSH for your new user, you can do so in this step. You can select the option that suits your needs.
Step 6: Create the User
Once you’re done with the previous steps, click on the “Create User” button to create the new user. You’ll be prompted to wait for a few seconds while the user is being created.

Once the user has been created, you’ll be able to view your new user in the “Websites and Users” section. You’ll see the username and password for your new user, but you won’t be able to view the password itself.
